I just did a search of my name in google ... purely out of boredom, turned up some interesting stuff.

It seems ppl with my name are either in health care, I.T. or multimedia; which i found strange cause those would be the main area's of interest to me, from a carrier point of view. When i was a kid i always wanted to be a doctor, then i got into computers n am currently studying I.T., and am considering a diploma in multimedia after this.

So have a look yourself n see if there's any potential double of you out there!

All the results are me, which isn't surprising since my name is so unusual.

One is my mother, something about an amateur tennis tournament.

There are loads of people on google with my name, among the first few are an Australian Folk performer, a professor of art, and a United states district court judge.

First few Google hits for my name ... are me. No major shock there.

But apparently there are those who share my name who...

    I'm shocked.

    --

Oh-.... the real me is the one who is #1 as far as Google is concerned :D, did all these sites (and more), got a free umbrella for saying this (although I now kinda regret those words), almost married, almost became a dad, almost died on a couple of occasions, ... but still can admit to aspiring to many of the things that a few of my namesakes above have done. Fair play to them... and what an eye opener!

Strangely enough, my full name seems to be everyone elses middle name.

    AB Little
    AB Callicut
    AB Miller

The only other thing I found was some lunix members list that I don't even remember signing on for.

Guess I'm one of those unique types.

Turns out I was the first victim of a Pedophile Priest back in 1935 over in boston, he coaxed me into his quarters with cake and soda, and then demanded I give him a massage coz he was "stiff from moving furniture"...

First page of results were normal enough anyway. My name is too common. A few professors in some universities, a furniture salesman, an author, some musicians...then on the second page, this:

"one of New York's most influential transvestite, drag, and transgendered performers"

     :D

Have googled myself. It appears that no-one shares my name. I am unique!...... or maybe I don't exist!!! ? Hmmmmm.... never considered that.....

I am pretty fúckin freaked here. My name is very Irish, so I only yielded 2 results. One was the homepage(that actually didn't exist) of a guy in UCD (I'm in UCD too), and the other was reams and reams of info, mailing list replies, and bbs posts on a linux guru/researcher in UL. OH cruel fate!!!! I'm destined to be a nerd forever :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,651 ✭✭✭Enygma

Mines freaky, I've done it before and every time I do it the first result is a site with a picture of the a grave with my name on it :)
It's supposed to be a site of famous gravestones. www.findagrave.com
My guy engineered some locomotive during a chase or something.

Oh, and I once gave a talk in a German university on Thiols in pathogenic microorganisms. Which is nice.

Most of the first page is me (including some mentions I was unaware of).

And after that just a bunch of links to various college societies who have a committee member with the same name as me.
