They're that cheap because they are Dell badged monitors that we were able to get cheap, nothing dodgy just Dell selling off excess stock. Also I do have a lower markup on stuff sold online as it saves me the trouble and expense of having a retail premises and having to spend hours talking ****e to customers who only buy a printer cartridge...
Question of not trying to rip my customers off really.

What kind of warranty do they have ?

How much would delivery be to dublin ? And do they come with a warranty ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,051 ✭✭✭mayhem#

Unfortunately I cannot sell these with a full factory warranty. Thye come however with a 90 days money back warranty.
Shipping to Dublin will be roughly 20-25 squids.

are you in limerick, and can someone collect

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,487 ✭✭✭Gerry

That is a great price. Xithus, I don't know what planet you are living on, but what were you expecting? 3 years onsite support thrown in as well? The monitor is brand new, and half price. Incidentally mayhem, do you see yourself have a continuous supply of said monitors at said excellent prices? Or do dell only sell them off periodically?

I got a monitor and computer delivered from Cork to Dublin for £15.12 inc VAT and the same from Cork to Wicklow for the same price.

They were Apple Performas so I managed to put the monitor and baseunit into the same big box.

The guy told me anywhere in Ireland for that price, but that may just be the Cork franchise that charges that price. All the goods arrived in perfect condition too.

I presume you're referring to me?
I've had an office in Ennis for about a year now. I think you might confuse me with someone else though, seeing that we do not have a shop, just an office and a storage facility...
We're in the same building as the Ennis Information Age Town offices, but please don't tell that to anyone...;-)
Doesn't surprise me about the Eircom TA though...

    1) yes
    2) The original DELL packaging
    3) yes
    4) difficult one as it would mean us having a PC available for you to connect it to. Is the money back warranty not enough?
    5) They are DELL badged.

The story is that we bought these of DELL by the pallet load. They are the same monitors that DELL sells with their desktops. They are DELL badged and packaged but are brand new...

    1) Hard to tell offhand as they are DELL badged and don't give the Sony oroduct code. I'll dig through one of the manuals and will let you know.
    2) Same story.
    3) Depends on where you are, if you read this thread you will get a fair indication...

    Lads,

I've just knocked another €18 of the price of the 19" Sony monitors. My supplier gave me a discount so that gets passed on straight to my customers....
Everyone who ordered last week and this week will automatically get the discount too.
Only but is that I have to sell 9 more by next Wednesday.
    Come on lads!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,025 ✭✭✭yellum

They €225 ex vat ? Is this correct ? Woah.

If so put me down for one. Beige if possible. However its not the case that impresses me.

    PM me with details.
