    Hi

How does it work if you are a Personal Trainer, and you a client wants to bring you into their gym to train them?

Does the PT have to pay a fee to the gym or how does it worK?

Reason I ask is I teach self defence , and a private client who is in a upmarket gym in town, they would not let him have a self defence instructor teach him in the gym?

Quite the norm as the gym would possibly have their own trainers.

You might ask them if you could offer them a small fee e.g. €15, so you could do the session. If its crunch or iveagh you can forget about it. Most gyms also do not allow it as the trainers in there would get annoyed as the client is not using them and the trainer is stepping in on their patch!
