had just bought the rears and was test fitting, they were 'wed kranze cerberus', 18x11.5j! -10 offset!

the wheels on the front i had all round, 'work rezax ii's'.

rears were never on the car, they stuck out too much, even with the arch work i had, so i sold them. cost me a grand for the pair

The front ones are pretty slick looking, the rear are to bling for my liking.

I don't usually like Jap stuff but that's a nice car.

Everyone to their own I suppose. Wouldn't be to my style, so they wouldn't.

@kceire - would I be right in saying that you had your E39 in with Andy recently??

Like I've always said, the E39 is, designwise, my favourite BMW ever!

its a rubber wrapped cord bouncing on a nearly 10 year old car, im not that bothered tbh :D
Plus the video is sped up by 5X so looks worse than it is.

I'm sure he polished the bumpers last!

I've never seen the cable do any form of damage hitting off the car.

Fair enough but best practice (certinaly mine anyway) is to drape the cord over the shoulder in order to protect against accidental damage to the paintwork.

A cable knocking up against my 7 yo Bora would certainly show.

Fair enough! I've never done detailing to that level so tbh I wouldn't know!

The only thing that would do is leave a line in already hazed wax. Nothing more ;)

    Wow! Nice car...

What is going to replace them? CSL's?

Not sure. I'd love CSL's but everyone has them. Might still go with it anyways though as they're probably my fav wheel on virtually any car.

I've a fair bit of time to decide tho as I won't be replacing them until after the winter, so they're sitting in the garage awaiting a buyer.

We've some dinky, blacky gray, 17s on it now and should be getting winter tyres put on when the weather starts to finally dip.

and those alloys look awesome, I'd love them I'm just not sure the car would love having 20's fitted

My beloved Alfa, forced to get rid of it because I don't drive around town and now I'm emmigrating. We had some good times, always fun to drive despite a few typical Alfa problems. That 1.9 JDT is a super engine too. These were taken after I cleaned and waxed it, then the window regulator decided it had had enough:

Like those saabs. Picked up the car on saturday and left early sunday morning for Palmerstown Nrth for the Argentine game. 600ks+ in one day. The 605 is some motorway cruiser and apart from the drivers window regulator....everything else works. That V6 nearly got me in trouble as i was pulled over doing 125 passing out some trucks on an incline. Savage car.
