I read somewhere, possibly on sky news, that an upcoming storyline has Sarar loo and Jason get together?
Anyone have any info on this one? That would be the stupidest storyline ever.

Also Danny Baldwin is a w*nker and Leanne is a little b*tch.

Jason bedded Sarah Lou, ages back, soon after she had broken up with the brother,.... Todd, he's name was, wasn't it???!!! If I remember well enough, Todd and Jason had a bit of a punch up after it, and Eileen throw the tramp out on the street.

oh yes that part where todd hit her a slap and threw her out the door is one of my cherished corrie memories but when I was reading this yoke i thought it meant they were getting together as a couple in a future storyline( I know the actors are dating in real life) perhaps it was the earlier story they were referring to.

(God I'm so ashamed to know this) In real life Tina O Brien (Sarah) was dating Bruno Langley (Todd), then they split up and shortly afterward she started dating whatever his name is (Jason).

It was rumoured that one of the reasons Bruno (Todd) left was because he felt uncomfortable about their realtionship. If that's true it was pretty insensitive for the writers to have Sarah sleeping with Jason be the reason Todd left the street. I'd guess it was the writers having fun with the rumours.

OT, but did anyone else see the Jason and Violet on ecstacy scenes the other week. It was very disorientating. Sitting on the couch clutching their sports water bottles. "Ah, you looked like an angel on the dance floor," "You were so beautiful and amazing and I love you," "Play with my hair! That feels ama-azing!" "Give me some chewie"

on the day of les and cilla's wedding sarar suddenly gets tired of Scooter being so lazy (the guy doesn't want to go to a wedding of some ppl he barely knows, the fiend) and strops off to it by herself, I can just imagine the little bitch now.
At the wedding is jason and poor neglected sarar will no doubt have a whole list of excuses that justifies her gettin off with him,
in walks violet, does she see them? ooh the suspense but no doubt sarar and jason will end up going out and Eileen will have a strop and gail will have a strop and sarar will stand there roaring like an antichrist with her knickers around her ankles.

That would be quite a horrible storyline for any actor/actress to deal with, but yes it would be interesting to see how corrie delt with it. I too read somewhere about it, wonder if they'll go ahead with it!!!

I think the only reason her character bothers me so much is the fact she has a 5 year old daughter and its all boyfriends and an endless parade of babysitters, you rarely see her with the child and it's not like she's a baby that would just sleep, She's 5, she needs her ma to be paying attention to her! You couldn't just fob off a real 5 year old like that. I think they should have Bethany grow up really warped and become a bad influence on the likes of the also warped Amy Barlow.

Off topic but still on the subject of Platts, its nice to see them finally doing something with David, i think he's played by a really good actor.

LOL! Fun times ahead in Corrie 2013 (does that sound a bit sci-fi?)
Assuming Audrey is meant to be around 65ish now(62 in real life apparently), it would be gas if Audrey was still around then cos that would make her a great great grandmother, and to continue on further, if she lived to 86 (not beyond the realms of possibility, Betty behind the Rovers' bar is 85 in real life and meant to be about the same in her on screen character so quite elderly characters are kept on in Corrie ) and Bethany's sprog keeps up the family tradition you can add another 'great' on there. I think that rather than saying "great great great grandma" for a living ancestor that far back, you should say "flamin' miraculous grandma".

Well it kinda began last wednesday I think when "Ravinder" from one of the other shops went into hospital ans kind old Sunita offered to keep an eye on her daughter Amber. Dev was slightly miffed for some reason ..... wonder why...

Well it turns out that Amber is actually Dev's daughter and not only that but he has haypes pf kids with the other shop girls. Sunita of course is extremely pissed because she feels she doesn't know her hubby anymore. Dev can't understand why she's mad at him over somethin that happened years ago....

Anyway I think the whole thing is f*cking ridiculous because this completely goes against the character of Dev.... which in a kinda twisted way may make us understand it all from Sunita's point of view.

Pathetic really.

Yeah, I've read about that and it does sound ridiculous. It's a weird thing about Corrie, it can have some really entertaining storylines followed quite sharply by some REALLY, REALLY stupid ones.

I was quite enjoying the Frankie/Danny/Leanne/Jamie storyline. (and thank God that boy finally cut his hair). Making an effort to watch each episode, then the next thing it is into that stupid street cars story and I end up switching it off as it's so annoying.

I really hope they do the Violet is HIV+ story. That one sounds like the best one in years.

There was actually a moment in one episode, shortly after Jamie found out that his da had done the dirt on Frankie but didn't yet know who with, that I thought it was gonna happen then and there with the amount of hugs and stuff between 'em. Then Carol (Jamie's biological lush...er I mean mum) let it outta the bag that Frankie knew it was Leanne all along and I thought the chances of a Jamie/Frankie gettin' it on situation had decreased a lot then.

Here's a way....lil far fetched but lets face it what isn't in a soap...

Poor David is so confused at his Ma and sister being such drama whores and his pansy of a da flyin off with a bird that he starts to give the older boys at his school "favours" in return for smack which he then sells on...
Sarah finds out what he's up to and agrees to keep it a secret in return for a free fix, coz lets face it she might as well try it.

Sally notices something is up with the teen and in a rare moment of closeness Rosie spills all to her mother.

Stroppy Sarah tells her she should flamin try it herself before she judges and flings the needle at Sally. It hits her right in the temple and in an instant her woes are forgotten.
Of course, Sally can't really afford her new habit and threatens to blow the cover unless Sarah keeps her sweet......

That could work I particularly like where you had the needle sticking in Sally, a nicely exposed arterial point where blood contact is almost certain. Only thing I'd be concerned about would be the risk of Rosie becoming a junkie.... I've got a soft spot for goth chicks

Sophie and Chesney are both played by pretty darn good young actors though. Ches gets some class lines from time to time. Of course he has ample chance to interact with Les, Cilla, Kirk and a horse sized dog on a regular basis. That crew could nearly get their own spin-off sit com.
The young lady playing Sophie for the last year and a half or so has developed her into a much more feisty character. Previously Sophie was a very mousey almost inconsequential character. Now she is a bit of a rebel, giving backchat to her mother and other deserving causes such as Norris.

yeah ya see in fairness its hard for them to do proper storylines that revolve around kids because it can be understandably difficult to get good actors (although the little guy who plays Joshua is really well suited i think)

so when the character gets to Sophie's age they can bring in a proper actor and and let rip with good lines and so on.

It was the same with Rosie, Sarah, David and the many Tracys!

I like the characters of Sophie and Rosie, they're both quite well done.

And oh my god I just read up on what happened in last nights ep. Sarah lou is such a lazy spoilt slut that is literally what she is she should be kept outside with Keith's pigs. Its ****ing sickening... fobbing her kid off so she can have a ride, she has to get AIDS she just has to!!

It's a fictional character and AIDS is a big reality that DOES happen and I think people need to be aware of.
