Just saw Film 2005 on BBC where Jonathan reviewed Serenity.

He was very impressed with it even comparing it with the original Star Wars movies. Great special effects, humour, intelligence and action.

Wow, that review is really bad, it's pretty clear from the onset that he hates the show and will hate the film, why did he even bother reviewing it? What an angry angry man.

I didn't get to see the Film 2005 one :(

    ... with less-than-stellar special effects...
What film was this guy watching?! The effects were top notch.

... typified by a gung-ho pilot (Alan Tudyk) who says his
flying ``is like a leaf on the wind.''...
Somebody missed the joke (or rather is choosing to ignore it in an effort to find
something to say against the film).

Can reviewers be trolls too? :)

The leaf on the wind bit was great! It cut the tension of the chase through space brilliantly and
made the audience laugh before THAT SCENE. It also showed how amazing Wash is as a pilot - the concentration, the mantra-chanting, the explosion-avoision...
    .
I think that was kind of a lazy review - oh, there's an Alliance who do bad things - it's an evil empire, it's Star Wars! Which in itself was soooo original and didn't borrow from other sources AT ALL. Silly man.
