So how did everybody do? I ran 1hr 42....really happy with that..thought i'd do around 2 hrs.

Also like to thank the girl who ran the last 5 miles with me..i think we dragged each other along...made it easier

1hr 44 with a good bit left in the tank at the end. No cutting corners either, people were running cross country to save a few meters. Got off to a slow start, should have positioned my self a bit better. Did second half at 7.30 pace

1:31 with nothing left at the end.
Passed a lot of people in the first 4-5 miles but that came back to haunt me in the latter stages. Went out a small bit too fast. Very happy all the same.

happy enough myself, 1:37, but as jnealon says, had a bit left at the end.
maybe the slow start helped us both? averaged just under 7.30 but if the
first mile and a bit hadn't been so slow (8.30) may have gone out a fair bit quicker.
Once I saw that I was going to have to make up a lot of time to do sub 7 m/m
I relaxed and enjoyed it a bit more. Certainly I won't mind a slower time if I can feel so good in the later stages of the marathon.
was nuts how many people were cutting off the corners, some by a very long way!
what's the point in entering a half marathon if you are going to cut so much off??
