Just to let ye all know that this is in progress and I should have something recorded for tomorrow all going well

Ropedrink and Nukem shall also be contributing, but as we all live in different parts of the country it wont be as fluid as the Entertainment overview for example

Plus Ive no broadband for skype and the like.

Whao Ok hang on I had ideas of creating a technology Podcast too. If you're in Dublin why don't you and I record one together, with us both beside eachother, then have a few cameos by RopeDrink.... we can have a conversation with them before we mix it when we're in a net café or whatever then mix it into the final podcast.

Good idea?

If you want to you can come over and use one of the studios at the radio station where I work.

We're on the Northside of Dublin and we could get contributions from the others over the phone.

That's actually a really really good idea. It'd probably just be me tho, with the others on the phone.

Achilles fire on with your podcast, as Im concentrating on the SHOP category. Nukem myself and RopeDrink gave our names to it, but the more the merrier

How did that Star Trek film pan out for you btw?

Well I'm dublin based, if anybody wants to meet up to do a cast about the various tech forums, windows, linux, gadgets, and perhaps emulation, then that'd be fine with me. I think the_syco is interested in doing something like this with me.

Comp guys you go ahead with your podcast. We can mix em as soon as its done. Or, myself and RopeDrink can go ahead with a kind of mini-cast for Friday.

Beginning to like this podcast lark though. I sound like a mix of Eddie Hobbs and Ray Darcy - not good o_0

Fyi mine is approx 9 minutes long at about 12 megs. 192 quality for later compression if needed....

I may hvae the 32k version on here somewhere from lastnight - but I asked ropey to redo it cos we sounded like hamsters with scuba gear on. I pmmd Andrew telling him the link (which worked lastnite) is now borked...
