Well it's basically to keep you hydrated.

Most of your body is made up of water and especially if you are doing plenty of exercise you are losing it through sweat.

If your constantly dehydrated, you may experience constant tiredness, headaches ect.

You should drink at least 2 litres of water a day. If you need to check if your hydrated, look at your urine. The clearer it is, the more hydrated you are.

And yeah it can help in weight loss, it flushes out your system and you will lose weight gradually. You will also notice your skin will be alot clearer, and if you have mild spots they will disappear.

LOL that sounds good. so its not a drastic improvement on weight loss. when u say gradually

No...well can you really expect drastic results from anything? Exercise should come as number one, drinking plenty of water will compliment it.

I have looked up some stuff and from the looks of it, you could expect to shed 1 pound a month alone from just drinking enough water.

It's better to drink ice cold water, when you drink it, the body must first heat it up before it can be passed into your system thus burning more calories.

Just remember this adage for water intake.
If your urines gold your medal won't be.

If you can drink 4 litres of ICED water a day do it...

The reason I say iced is that your body burns calories heating up the water and drinking 4 litres a day amonts to roughly 200 calories burned.

Iced water wouldn't exactly be the best thing in the world. Sure, it may aid the weight loss progress, but you could end up doing more damage than it's worth. Just don't eat that mars bar after lunch to get the same effect :)
