PNG Problem

I have a problem with PNG images I've created in Photoshop. For some reason, any transparent pixles turn up grey when viewed in IE. They act just like a gif when viewed in Firefox however (i.e. showing the background colour). Am I missing some setting in PS, or is IE just being annoying?

Yeah, the problem is with IE's rendering of the alpha channel. afaik, you can modify IE so that it displays them correctly, but naturally a change to your browser will still leave everyone else with the problem.

MS should fix that in IE7, but that's just a guess. It looks like they've been resisiting PNG compliance even though it's been around for many years.

It's fairly annoying having to hack to get things displaying correctly with IE :mad:
