In the same vein as the "what are you listening to" & "what did you watch last night" threads I thought this could be interesting to see what games are taking over everyones lives recently ! Hell i might even get a few ideas for something new to play myself (mods if this has been tried and failed please feel free to lock/delete).

So, Last night I have been mostly playing .....
NBA JAM on the Gens Emulator, oh the memories that came back to me on loading this game !

Two player tournament mode with a friend - "spectacular" fiery slamdunks - not being able to steal the ball from that f*cking computer  - arguing over whose fault it was when you lost.

Still a well playable little game - bah, who needs these modern graphics anyway.

Well since I just ordered GTA San Andreas last Friday, I decided to reinstall Vice City over the weekend to get me in the mood and man I forgot how good this game is, gunning for 100% completion unless San Andreas arrives in the mean time, also playing cs: source and small doses of Rome: Total War, oh and of corse Pro Evo every weekend with a few cans swifly followed by MOTD.

Spent my gaming time last night trying to get System Shock to work, because for some reason I've never played it before.

Came close, but no cigar :(

I was playing Halo 1 in co-operative mode with my nephew...

I only just got it for the xbox... I'd only ever played it on the MAC before... it certainly plays a lot better on the xbox.

I also did a few missions in City of Heroes.

If you want the full version of OS X Halo then I'll have a root around for it for you... I'm pretty sure I'll never feel the need to play through it on the Mac again anyway.

Well tonight i've been playing the "try and find a job before my landlord sodomises me in exchange for rent" game.

Inbetween i managed to get a few good games of Pacman [a last ditch attempt at the Console challenge] and a few of hard as nails Ikaruga.

Been 'playing' Kingdom of loathing and Larkinor online. Haven't been able to find my idea of a good game for P.C in ages.

"The White Chamber", an indy point and click adventure I found on www.legaltorrents.com. Pretty cool game, if perhaps a bit easy at times. Lots of great art work, though.

    Timesplitters :Future Perfect
Playing the High Score Challenge "Behead the undead", got up to a platinum award, got to post the score up later.
Then went on to annihialate my brother in multiplayer mode - mexican mission, elimination mode, bots on, weapons limited to baseball bat and grenades :D .
So funny seeing the look on his face when you pick up a cloak, sneak up behind him and crack him one with a bat :D

    A bit of metal slug.
Got to stage 7 of Gradius V. And I thought the evil asteroids of stage 5 and the green goo of doom on stage 6 were bad
Also got a bit further in devil may cry 3. I will be playing that until I get horribly stuck on the next boss.

Don't give up tman it's definitely beatable. The first sight of the pure evil and hatred eminating from the second part of level 4 has caused lesser men to give up on life.

How does the Snes9x emulator run on PSP? Will it handle any ROM you throw at it?

It's slower than a geriatric in a slow mobile. Other than that it will handle most roms except the odd obscurity such as Firemen.
