having trouble finding out the title of the song from a drink driving ad.
The ad is the one where there is a young boy playing football in his garden, it then cuts to a guy in his mid twenties who is paying a football match, the older guy has a few pints and crashes into the garden where the young boy is playing.
"shall i tell you about my life...."

Speaking of good music in ads, there's been a string of them lately. Anbody know the music from the following ads?:

Sony DVD Camcorder (guy jumping the through people's windows and whatnot. The song sounds as if a kid is singing it)

Lacoste for Men Aftershave (Guy jumping from pole to pole near the sea. The song is Norah Jones-ish.)

The ad on Sky, clips from all the movies they're showing. ("It's a new dawn, it's a new day")

I can't actually remember what this next ad is for exactley, I think it has something to do with Danone, or some other yoghurt. (Song goes like: "Got my heart, got my hands" or something like that).

Very vague I know, and by the way. :D

This is a Ray Charles song, not sure of the exact name but it might point you in the right direction.

these are both Nina simone songs, first is "feeling good" second is "I got life" nothing to do with ray charles...

I'm rather glad you added that smilie. The song's called "The Meaning Of Soul" for anyone who cares. NME had a half-arsed rant about it when they found thirty seconds to spare in between being irrelevant and climbing up someone's rear.

There actually is loads of good songs in ads lately, you're right!

Anybody know the one for I think an insurance company or a bank, and the only words I know out of it are, "...Walk in Jerusalem..." I've downloaded about 100 songs called "Walk In Jerusalem" but they're all different ones.

And also, there's another one in an ad for contraception use or somethin! Anyone know this song?

I love that drink driving ad. ALways gets a chuckle when I see it. Not as much as the one where the lad gets hit by the van when he's crossing the road though

Not even that ad can ruin this song for me. Man of the World is one of the greatest songs ever written imho. Peter Green (who was possibly the best blues guitarist ever to have lived) wrote the song just before being committed to an asylum due to an acid-induced breakdown.

When he was finally let out, he had to learn how to play guitar from scratch!

I love the music to the Lucozade (I think) ad with the zombies in the shoppin center.
"There's things I haven't told you, I go out late at night."

    - We Don't Care by Audio Bullys

    Brilliant

Are you sure Sleepy? I don't think he was committed, he just sold his guitar to Gary Moore gave up on music and went away from it for 25 years. His decisions may have been influeneced by acid though.

Its a classic! Especially the double irony (consumers = zombies etc.)

    Or "distasteful and horrific"
    according to complaints
    received by the ASAI.

just seen a english ad not for drink driving but for keeping attension on the road, it looked like a video you'd record of a mobile phone and then a teenager gets whacked by a blue car, im not sure if the video is real but it does look real.
i seen it on the box btw.

They're not going to use real footage of someone getting killed by a car. Have a bit of sense.

well if its a staged video they fooled me. Although some people will say thats the point.
But i would nearly think that someone was recording there friends on their phone on one of them happened to walk out onto the road only to be flung into the air by a blue car, and hence decided to send the vid into whoever to warn people about the risks.
    my two cents anyway.
