I bought a juicer recently and think it's brilliant, I've been juicing apples, pears adding ginger and honey - totally delicious especially when mixed with sparkling water.

I want to try other things, does anyone have any juices they make regularly they would recommend.

Michael van straten's book - super juice is great

Personally i juice about 3 carrots 3 apples half cuecumber then put juice in a blender and blend a large handful of frozen berries with 2 tablespoons of udo's choice. Amazing smoothie taste!!

Fish Oil... good for the joints.
Pretty putrid tasting stuff on its own, but fine if mixed with juice...

where do you get these frozen berries I keep hearing about - I've been looking out for them in Tescos without any luck

I've seen them in the freezers in superquinn loads of times

The ones I get in Tescos are in the frozen bit where the ice cream is. The come in plastic containers a bit like what you get in a salad bar - I think the brand is Boylans..

Yeah I know how it is, I was origionally looking for them in the cooked meats counter but thankfully they pointed me in the right direction - good old superquinn staff.

BTW Udo's choice is NOT a fish oil supplement - its based on flax seed oil, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil etc hence its ideal for vegans/vegetarians

Just had a juice with the following today
3 carrots
3 apples
1 large red pepper

Juice all and blend in blender with 2 tablespoons udos and large handful frozen berries (i get mine in musgraves in a massive bag for €8-10)

Skys the limit with a juicer, great for experimenting in the weird and wonderful and making a mess along the way!

Celery works well as does any other veg with loads of water in it.

I tend to just put everything I can find in the fruit bowl and fridge in and see what comes out!
