I was actually considering asking that myself since current mod's while still slightly active haven't been around in a while. Another one or two might help to cover any outbreaks from going airborn like that small one there. I was wondering what is required or how to apply etc. A simple PM?

Fact is I've been a member of this board for ages now (21-08-2001), granted not a prolific poster but a long term member all the same.

Sent pm's to tazzle, yourself & amp about this ****e and not one reply.

Oh and I used the "report this post button" and got no reply.

If the moderators of this forum had been on the ball and killed the original flame post regarding our server, none of this needed of taken place.

Why make rules if you don't stand by them

That's a fair point about the ban and it's something I was doing anyway.

My main point was about how this started in the first place.

The forum clearly states that flamming public servers is a no no, but yet this was left open and everyone soon jumped on the band wagon to flame the hell out of us.

I think it only fair that over half of our clan responded in kind to the onslaught of dribble being thrown at us.

Not to mention drake and tazzle are currently mods there, so is amp, and as far as I can see (in a very short look) amp is the only active mod. Amp may be able to suggest a couple of new mods though, from the current active stock of posters there.

The whole NOG thing became ridiculous.. If anyone has any sort of justified complaint about the the NOG, they are perfectly entitled to post it.. The problem is the 4 or 5 spam monkeys that insist on posting the same ould crap bad mouthing everything about the NOG or even Counter Strike itself..

A system similar to the Soccer forum would probably be a waste of time. The majority of posters in the CS forum just wouldnt care if they couldn't post while alot of the posters on the Soccer forum (me included) genuinely value being able to post there..

Lets face it, the Counter Strike community in general is made up of cocky over opinionated young males so the forum was never really gonna be anyway civil.. Either accept its not going to be civil and let everyone run riot, or just appoint a mod who "cares"..
