Glad to see I am not the only person having had so many phones, Mobileinfantry.

I remembered I forgot that I had a Nokia 9110 for a while. In my defence I started out selling phones, so some I only had for a very short time, hence the huge number and variety...

As said in my post, I used to buy & sell sim free phones. I tend to keep phones for quite a while now...but I still upgrade every 9 - 12 months and sell the upgrade phone if I decide not to keep it.

    My phones on 0 2...

August 1998,Nokia 5110 seemed so cool at the time but it was crap
September 2000, Siemens M 35i, still getting use by a mate of mine, what a workhorse
Hallow'een 2001, Nokia 6210, biggest piece of **** ever, had it in with 7 faults at the one go and a leaky screen after 5 weeks. it put me off Nokia for life.
July 2002, Siemens S 45, a great workhorse, only died last year
April 2003, Siemens S 55, well 2 of them after some skanger nicked two handsets on me, a lovely phone to use if a tad rickety, most unlike Siemens. Awesome looker and great audio on it, speaker was mega loud!
Jan 2005, Siemens S 65. Best phone ever, such a Dote to use and so solid and sleek looking. Will only replae it for the S 75!!! And it runs on the same charger the C 62 runs on, literally the same one!

    Meteor

2003, Siemens M 50, great workhorse that looked like a Tampax Box
2004, Siemens C 62, cool screen but I just used it for calls.
2004, Siemens SL 55. Can't believe it was €359 when I got the S 55, Meteor upgraded me for nowt!! Looks hot but it's very unreliable. Still, it's a good phone to hide so it's handy for security, and I love the slide opening.

    mitsubishi trium- never worked :(
nokia 5110- i had two of these bricks one was even robbed and then returned to me
nokia 3310- good phone but the battery was very dodgy
motorola v300- my lovely new phone, the only one that ever worked and was then stolen by some git on the bus (out of my hand!!! :( )

apparently i don't have the best of luck with phones

also everyone else seems to have had loads of phones!

    Siemens M35 (3 years)
    Presently: SE T68i (1 year)
About to upgrade to: Motorola V500

While I like some features of the T68i, other things I preferred about the M35i (cheap battery replacements, no screensaver to hide the fact I've received a call / text!)

1 - Nokia 5110 ('98-'99) First phone. It served me well I guess!
    2 - Nokia 7110 ('99-'02) Great phone.
    3 - Sony CMD-Z5 ('00-'02) Nice little phone. Alternated with 7110.
4 - Nokia 7210 ('02-'04) First colour screen phone. It was fine, can't complain.
5 - Nokia 7200 ('04-'05) First clamshell - screen was too small, but fine phone.
6 - Nokia 6020 (2 months hehe) Hideous plastic, cheap phone - crashed a lot.
7 - Motorola V975 (current) Happy enough so far, though the battery life isn't the best.

I still have all my phones - don't like to throw them away, cos I can still use 'em, they all work. :)

wow, some have had so many phones... I generally only change once a year.

Panasonic GD - Small at the time and you could turn on vibra with a switch on the side, got this when I joined Digifone in '98
Nokia 6110 - Came with snake, think it was the first phone with it
Nokia 3210 - No antenna, first Nokia without one :-)
Nokia 8850 - Looked sweet but was poor build, went through 3 of these
Ericsson T68 - First colour phone, still my fave!
SE T630 - Sweet little phone!
Moto V600 - Piece of Junk, worse phone ever, never touching a Moto again, looks ok but the UI is utter s***...

Currently using the T630 while I think about my next one. Can't decide whether to get the S100/JAM or a k750/w800. Although I might just wait for the new Qtek 8310 as it has built in wi-fi!

Siemens M35 - excellent first phone - virtually indestructable
Nokia 8210 - a HandMeDown - feckin great coz it was so small
Ericsson T20i - crap. No predictive text...
Nokia 8310 - great phone for texting, great battery, small..
Sony Ericsson T610 - classic. Nice display.
Sony Ericsson K700 - crap. Battery life of a matter of hours towards the end.
Sony Ericsson K750 - so far so good, much better battery life!

    Sony all the way now!

1st phone was a motorola talkabout in summer 2001 it actually had wap wasnt that bad of a phone
2nd was a nokia 3310 i dont know why i got this phone the motorola was way better its just everyone had this phone and it looked cool
3rd was a nokia 3510i another waste as besides the fact it was in colour and a few other things it was a fairly dissapointing phone
4th and current phone i got my nokia 6600 in january and its the only phone i ever had that im really pleased with ive it full to the brim with apps and stuff like that and im in no hurry to get rid of it

each phone's lasted 2 years, no need to throw money at something which has one more feature than your last one!
