westwood teen gym?

i was just wonderin wen the teen gym reopens in clontarf. the thing is i don't like the teen gym its too small i much prefer the main gym and i don't want to go back to the teen gym.

What age are you? I hate the spa teenagers that use the main gym. A lot of them don't even know what a sweat towel is. In the chaging rooms they are loud and often just walk straight in from the showers to their towel in their locker, soak the floor and even wring out their togs on the floor. I once saw three teenagers with only one towel between them, two shared and the other used a hair dryer to dry himself.

The teen gym is not reopening. The machinery is being sold to smaller gyms, and the room is being refitted. It is most likely going to be used for offices, and a staff canteen.

Westwood is a woeful gym. Dont waste your time.

Why so you think that? What are your problems with it Shrimp. It has it's faults but I've been to a few gyms and still prefer Westwood to any of them.

i aslo heard the teen gym is not re-opening, did many people people use it tbh, what was in it?

I enjoy going to westwood the odd time (not a member). The main gripe I have is that the dumbbells only go upto 35kg (the heaviest i could find anyway). Not that i'd be lifting huge amounts or anything but i'd still need more than that. 35kgs is pretty poor considering ther's some fairly serious trainers there.

Other than that it's a great gym

Plus they don't have doubles. It's a pain having to wait for someone to finish with a pair of dumbells.

FX Meister not all teenagers get the locker rooms wet, i use the the drying room and i dont even use the spa. So shut up complaining.

but alot of tens do that(im a teen and i dont but i wil admit to having seen them do this not all of them but alot of them do) but teen gyms suck! the amount of little scumbags who come in and think they are hard while they are benching like 30kg and tell ya they will kill ya when you are benching about 90-100kgs...its laughable! i hate them! id much rather be in with the adults plus i find they push me to lift heavier weights! im very competative and as the adults lift heavier then teens in general i feel competing with them much better!

i cudnt agree more the teen gym is so small and there is less equipment in it. i much prefer the regular gym there so much things in there for nearly every body part.

Yeah I went to that gym before and it was full of scummy knobs who think they are hard (you know the kind normal people cross the street to avoid). However I'm a teen also and I'm train very hard and respect the gym and the people around me. I think it's unfair to even say most teens are like that. you should just call them chavs or scumbags - I mean this gym isn't in the most respectable area anyway..

I've never seen a single Pikey in Westwood. But I did visit Total Fitness on the malahide road and it was full of tinkers.

Even if they still work with tin? I suppose it could be a racial slur. Maybe it's against the rules. I don't really have any time for them anyway so I'm not really bothered.

well my question here is.. how on earth are use allowed use our big gym and not pay extra money.. i think its time for a complaint to westwood

The Westwood management are really bad so I don't think a complaint will do any good.

Well i did make a complaint and i was told the ppl from 16 - 18 will have to pay extra if they wish to use the main gym. can somebody confirm this is true or false
