Usb2 not detechted

    I recently upgraded my Operating system from Xp to Xp pro all went grand except that i have only usb1.1 now where before I had usb2.0! I think it cannot be a hardware issue as I did not the cover of my machine at all. I have a dell dimension 4600. I have tried goin on Google and finding drivers but I can see nothing that is off any help and I also tried the dell.ie website

    Any suggestions would be a great help

    I think the USB2 was intergrated into Service Pack 1,did you update the latest Xp pro install from internet?

    that happend to me drivers wouldnt work with out dell windows xp os returned to home works fine.

    The Real B-man have you tried to overclock the cpu on that dell, i have a 4600 as well. i have a thread in tweaking/modding on how to do it. you use cpucool. give it a go.
