Oh Bubbles Where Art Thou?

Whilst doing nothing at work I decided to perouse the archives of boards and the Biki. Now I have been posting here since Feb 2002 , and over the past year or so I had gradually forgotton about Bubbles. To my suprise I never knew he was part of the admin and was hunted out over the newsletter spam. Really though I was just wondering where he is lately, is he still posting(no doubt under a different alias) or has he left us for good.

Yes Bubbles was an admin.

It's a little known fact that Bubbles is also a girl.

At the moment, Bubbles doesn't post directly on boards.ie, but she does hold the ownership of the boards.ie hosting servers. Part of the agreement with her to get her to stop spamming boards.ie was that she be allowed invest some capital in the business, now she just lurks on irc and call people names. The Sex & Sexuality Forum was Bubbles' idea, to increase the subscribership of the site (business savvy etc.) I don't think the admins generally are that interested in the business side of boards.ie so Bubbles may take on more and more of it.

On further investigation he was a C-Mod, wouldnt it be great if he made a return. Return as in a good return and not wreaking havoc. Although at times the havoc he wreaked was pretty fun. I also think there is a bit of him in trolls and spammers.

Bubbles wasn't a C-Mod iirc, she is however a S-Mod now.

Back when a C-mod was mod of a community/hosted board. Like in my tagline (which hasn't been changed in a few years). Bubbles had his own wee board for all things bubbly and bubbling.

Bubbles had his moment IMO, the IRC "coup" is always funny to read through, at the same time every funny moment is outweighed by his pointless, witless and boring spamfests.

Yes I will have to agree with the fact the spamfest were annoying but Bubbles was once funny. I would be interesting to get an Admins point of view on Bubbles.

I met that guy in the picture at a boards beer. He then told me later on that he was paid by his sister to pretend to be her. I think that guy does actually post on boards though, he'll probably turn up and let us all know.
