muscle gain question

    With proper diet and training whats is the theoretical maximum amount of muscle you could gain in a year?

    It depends on so many factors:

    1) How much fat you're willing to gain...more calories mure muscle but also more weight gain.

    2) genetics - has a massive role in ultimate potential

    3) Supplementation. I assume you mean a natural in his first year training. Taking the right supps at the right times would add an extra 20%...

    I suppose witht the right programme, the right diet and decent genetics you could gain 20 - 40lbs, depending on a few factors. Anything over 20 though is good.
