    Basically, you've to turn the box on it's side to get it through the front door. Mammoth of a thing!

    TBH, I prefer to get Garlic bread and maybe some wedges with a smaller pizza than to just stuff myself with one of the massive ones!

    I've tried to finish a Wagon Wheel on many occasions but to no avail. :(

    Coupons in the independant directory give you a two for one on all pizzas, wagon wheels included, on tuesdays. Now that's tough.

    Does anyone have a picture of this?

    Those yokes are mad. Absolutely massive, I've yet to see anyone make a dent in it.

    In fact a small group was defeated by this foe. Think it was 24 inch or something.

    18 to 20 inch? Ha, I mock that wagon wheel.

    I believe Dominos or Four Star dos 24 inch or I might just be imagining things again.

    Cut the crusts off. Bit filling and not as nice as the toppings part. and if you're still hungry you can dip em in that gorgeous garlic dip...

    If I remember correctly Dominos only goes up to 13 1/2.

    I've never tried Four Star before.

    Then it must have been 4 star, either way this monstrosity of a yoke arrived when I was at a friends house once. It was as big as my TV.

    Just checked and Four Star only go up to 16".

    (And it seems that Dominos does pizzas half an inch bigger in the US. Damn!)

    Trust me, if there was a bigger pizza in Ireland, I would have eaten it by now. ;)

    Right, I'm officially insane. I could have sworn it was 24 inch, either way I'm wrong but this thing was massive.

    Heh, just had one of these last night before going out, there was 3 of us and we were all nicely stuffed after it, youd need to be some fat bastard to eat a whole one of these to yourself, just took a pic with my phone of the box sitting in the door to give everyone an idea of its size

    Ha, not really, it was probably due to the feed of cans we had before and after it aswell but we were actually talking about it and i reckoned youd eat half the pizza comfortly, anything after that is going to be a bit of a struggle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,543 ✭✭✭sionnach

    Anyone know if Mizzonis in Tallaght ( belgard Rd ) do these?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,618 ✭✭✭Civilian_Target

    Never forget, pizzas are round - so a 20" pizza is more than 50% larger than a 16" pizza, and a 16" pizza is almost double the size of a 12" pizza.

    12" = 36 pizza units
    16" = 64 pizza units
    20" = 100 pizza units

    I can finish a 16" pizza on my own with room to spare - but I suspect the wagon wheel would defeat me unless I was truly ravenous...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 664 ✭✭✭Nimrod's Son

    I wouldn't have the cojones to attempt a wagon wheel. I'd be sick as a pike. The 16-incher is far too intimidating as it is!

    Didn't you do science in school? You will find its metric equivalent in the back of the Scientific Tables....

    I think I had a 16 inch today at lunch and when I went back to the office I started sweating which happens to me when I eat excessively and I had to remain seated for 20 minutes.

    Thus I would get pwnd by a wagon wheel.

    It should happen to everybody when they eat excessively...(I know it happens to me at night)... which is probably why obese people sweat pretty much at the drop of a hat.

    The Mizzoni's Original Irish pizza is the greatest invention ever in the history of food. But the biggest I've eaten was the 16" one, once, when I was practically passing out with hunger. I wouldn't even attempt the Wagon Wheel.

    I used to get a free one every tuesday because one of their delivery drivers fancied a Lithuanian girl in work and he'd bring her in the pizza but she was far too concerned about her weight and boyfriend to eat it or bring it home.

    They are so damn nice!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,807 ✭✭✭chump

    So roughly what's the diameter of this pizza in metric units?
