UTV wireless setup help

Hi all, I'm trying to setup a Linksys Wireless-G broadband router. I have change the routers settings to PPPoE and have entered the correct Username and Password but when ever the router tries to connect it gets an IP of 0.0.0.0 Do I need to change any settings on the Modem to get it to bridge to the router?
