Is or has anyone been a member of Coolmine Gym, if so all comments would be helpful, thinking of joining as it's the closest to home.

I asked a friend who is/was a member (he joined when the Aquatic Centre was closed)
His terse response when I forwarded your post to him was:
It's unspectacular, basic, convenient, cheap, not too crowded. Wouldn't go
    to the pool myself.

I used to train there, its a good little gym, dumbells up to 40kg and they are the good old fashioned iron ones that clang, 1 free squat rack, 1 smith machine, cables, 2 free benches and a free bench press bench. Has everything you need and its cheap! You dont get pool membership with the gym membership btw but there is a mixed sauna :)
