Did Indo Make Typo in Headline re IRA announcement today?

I'm looking at the BBC site here, and on image six of six at the following link we can clearly see a typo on the Indo heading, which would be a bit of a boo-boo at the best of times, but on such a day, with such an announcement... somewhat embarrassing.

However, perhaps this was a photo taken while the paper was being compiled? Or there's some other explanation?

    See here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/4727161.stm

Contrast this with the PDF of today's issue on the Independent site and the typo is no longer: http://www.unison.ie/irish_independent/frontpagepdfs/2005/12800.pdf

Anyone got a physical copy to refer to?

There's nothing technically wrong with writing 4.0pm. It's a matter of style.

The papers send tga images to all news organisations who request them in the middle of the night b4 they go to print for inclusion in bulletins and online editions(EG. thats how sky news get the images of the next days papers to show on late bulletins). It was a simple mistake by someone who was probably under pressure to get it shown asap. Build a bridge...Get over it

"Style" for a newspaper is a very rigidly defined thing. Time is either 4.00pm or 4pm. Leaving out one zero is definitely an error.

I thought this was probably the case thus my request back on July 29th for someone to compare it to the defacto print edition.

Tell me, what does the term acronym "tga" refer to?
