    Folks,

I'm looking to stream music wirelessly from PC and HiFI to different amps and pc's in the house. Just doing a bit of searching and saw this on Komplett http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=303728&cks=SPK.

Has anyone used this ? or can they recommend nother piece of kit.
Not looking to spend too much here, round the 200-250 mark.

    Thanks.

you might want to consider the Soundbridge M500 or M1000 they have Irish distribution and there's a guy in the UK on eBay always selling them. I think they're about 300 euro.
They work on wired and wirless connections and support pretty much all audio formats. Digital output.
I have two of the M1000 units and am sharing my music library on the LAN in my house from a LinkSys NSLU-2 NAS device attached to a 200GB drive in a USB casing. I flashed it with mt-daapd so it appears on my network as an iTunes-type library. This means I don't need to leave a PC on 24-7 to stream my library.

The only downside (for me) is that the Soundbridge doesn't support Realaudio streams and Windows Media streams which is a pain in the arse because I would like to be able to stream BBC on it. It's very cool though to pick up the remote control and start streaming stations from all around the world with no ads :-)

it supports Slimserver (google it) and is platform agnostic.

Can't say I'm familiar with the gadget on Komplett but it does look interestingly good value. Check the small print for compatibility with audio formats and server types supported.
