    i train there(when not at my school gym) it can be quite packed in the evening! like it depends on what you want to do! if you are using treadmills and machines you may have to wait a few mins but if you do things like free weights etc.. you never have to wait at all! and the pool is a pool! whether it has alot of ppl its pretty much the same to swim in always once you are in 1 of the lanes

    It can get busy, but you're never really waiting long for any equipment.

    One word of advice, bring your own music. They pump that terrible 98fm/FM104 out, even in the saunas!

    I go there at lunchtime. Been there in the evenings a few times and it can get pretty busy.

    Pluses:
    * Good equipment
    * Clean (mostly)
    * Great value compared to other GYMs

    Minuses:
    * Showers are crap... you may aswell get someone to piss on you.
    * Shower rooms fluctuate between clean and pretty dirty sometimes
    * The choice of over-priced foods in the lobby are decidedly unhealthy for a post-workout feed (fruits in sugary syrup, sambos with loads of mayo and white bread and, eh, CHOCOLATE BARS?) Could certainly do with some moderately priced salads and protein shakes and that sort of thing.

    I think that's a rule for all gyms! :rolleyes:
