I did my finals there and have got my results, passed my summer exams for the first time in four years so all is well.

Just wondering when do i officially leave the college and not a student anymore? I want to go to the doctor in college but am i still entitled and for how long?

Does your Trinity student card not say that it expires on 31st October 2005? My guess is that you are ok to go to the doc there until then. The doc won't know you passed all your exams, you could have resits.

I don't actually think that makes any sense, but it sounds like it does so I'll leave it there.

do, or do not, suits make a man look cool?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,095 ✭✭✭Chick

Depends on if the man is a weed or he can actually fill the suit!

    Also.. cheap suits=naaaasty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

I have a very nice suit. Fits perfectly and is not cheap. Then again, I look cool anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,003 ✭✭✭rsynnott

I look uncool regardless, but fortunately don't have to wear suit for current line of work :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

i have no problems washing cloths it's drying them that bothers. do they still make cloths that aren't socks that are tumble dryer proof. firstly, i don't have a cloths line, secondly, radiators annoy me.

I don't mind washing them at all either, but when I attempt to tumble dry anything, well frankly it comes out looking like it'd only fit barbie!

Kev -How can you not a have a washing line? :/

    Now now chick

You use the low heat setting! If there's lots, just leave them in longer. I have never shrunk anything in a tumbler if I used it right (and was sober)......

Roundtower2: Yes. Sometimes I wear only my stethoscope when the clothes run out.....

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,487 ✭✭✭Kevin_rc_ie

I don't know why i don't have one, i used to. I'm trying to convince my parents to get one of those spinny flower shaped cloths line things.

tumble dryer on low heat is a terrible inefficient use of energy.

Do you know what Kev, you took the words right outta my mouth there. That's exactly why I don't use our tumble dryer! ;) Such a teribble, teribble waste... *hangs head in shame*

Most things are, as long as they aren't made from wool or acrylic. Look at the label if you're in doubt - they're pretty self-explanatory.

Sorry, that's the way things go on around here..

Do you ever travel in cars? Well then you are wasting FAR, FAR more energy than the poor old tumble-dryer. People have weird ideas about these things...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,487 ✭✭✭Kevin_rc_ie

wasting? well i suppose using public transport would be more efficient use of energy. i quite often only travel in pt in a typical week.

Fancy yourself as a bit of a Rasputin do we? ;)

(And yes, I already know the truth about what actually happened etc etc...)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,135 ✭✭✭✭John

What actually happened? I only know about all the poisonings, stabbings and whatnot that took ages to kill him. But there's no disputin that Rasputin was darn tootin tough.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,095 ✭✭✭Chick

    It's all about the pastries...

Basically poisoned pastries, poisoned madeira cake and poisoned wine had no effect on him. Nor did being shot or beaten.

So he was tied up and chucked in a river where he drowned!

Sure was a tough cookie ;)
