    Okay I am not too sure, but I am paranoid about my fitness! I am 16 and male and I have lost 2 stone in 6 months okay but my chest won't go away :mad: What excercises should I do to get rid of it??

    They are not majorlly big but big enough to annoy me!

    Please help!

    Bench press

    butterfly machine (back straight always no matter how hard it is)

    fly's (think of hugging a tree with a barbell in each hand...dont keep your arms straight...bend those ****ing elbows!!)

    and make sure your entire torso is rigid for these...make each repetition an intense powerful movement and dont forget to breath...

    lots and lots of cardio AFTER your weights

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    also complement these exercises with exercises for the surrounding and supporting muscles...meaning work your upper back...shoulders...lats..biceps...abs and deltoids...no point in having a buff chest if you look stupid :D

    Thanks, But I should say I am not a member of a gym cos I have no money but I do , do a lot of excercise, sit-ups, cycling, swimming everyday...

    would any of the above help?

    Hi daz42C,

    Congratulations on losing that weight. I'd say you just need to tone the chest muscles a bit. You can do so using simple bodyweight exercises like the ones you are already doing. I'd add in some pushups. There are literally hundreds of different types and I'd recommend finding out a good few and experimenting with the ones you like the most.

    I personaly love Hindu pushups, Atlas pushups, alternating side leg pushups, Wide Grip and diamond pushups. All of these are done with varying leg placement and heights. I am currently working myself up to a goal of doing 1000 pushuips in one day. There is a specific reason for this obviously and I started on the 6th of July - I am now up to 450. Its very hard, but I've put inches on my chest of lean hard tissue in a very short space of time.

    At the moment I have several of clients doing specific work on the chest area, for an upcoming shoot. They need development very quickly and are doing a variation of my routine. they are all experiencing similar results and are delighted.

    You don't need any weights, you don't need anything except your own bodyweight and the motivation to keep pushing yourself to bigger and better things.

    450 at once :eek: ? Or in sets? i can do about 50-60 in one set. If i was to increase that the most obvious thing to do is keep,keep and keep on doing them everyday?
