Whats the best exercise and fitness routine to lose "The Gut" aka the Beer Belly. Mine is gone fairly serious that it hangs over my belt which is an embarrasement. I want maximum results in the minimum time and least effort. Also what foods should be given up to lose me belly???

Lose the booze.. It ain't called a 'beer belly' for nothing :)

Seriously. You can excercise and improve your diet, but as long as you're drinking, you're going to have a certain amount of flab there. If you just want to reduce it, do the obvious things like cut down on the drink, stop eating fast foods/snacks etc, and get some more excercise.

lol, You ain't gonna get maximum results just by extending your index finger over a mouse :p

    It is what it's.

Not off the top of my head.. but if you're carrying a lot up front, then a few simple changes will make a big difference.

    1) Cut down/stop boozing. Even for a few months.
    2) Excercise. Run, cycle, spin, stairclimber etc.. 20-30mins 3 times a week.
    3) Stop snacking
    4) Eat 4 -5 smaller meals a day, instead of the usual breakfast lunch and big dinner. Ideally, your evening meal should be the smallest of the day.
    5) Cut out fast food.
    6) Replace soft drinks with water.
    7) Stomach excercises.. Crunches, leg lifts etc..

They're all pretty obvious points, but they do make a difference, and the more you have to lose up front, the faster you'll actually lose it. The hard part is losing the last layer of flab covering your stomach muscles.

Can you go into detail on these crunches and leg lifts? Thanks.

1 pint of bud = 2 and a half bars of dairy milk...

stop drinking would be the obvious idea

as for maximum results in the minimum time why not try getting off the chair and away from the pc and go for a walk...

You can't 'spot reduce' the fat, i.e. doing stomach exercises won't burn more fat off the stomach, but it will tone up the muscles when the layer of fat does finally feck off.
