How Many texts have you sent?

Was just having a look at my phone 6230 I have had the phone about 7 Months and i managed to rack up 25689 sent and recieved 26789, bare in mind i have meteor free texts. But that is only with the 6230 i'd say i have sent close to about 32000. Jesus that is bad..

Since March 2004 I have sent 314 text messages and recieved 417.

Most of the ones I sent are just responses to ones I've recieved... it really isn't a favored form of communication for me...

EDIT: Oh yes... I'm with O2 and they give me 100 free text messages each month and any unused are carried over. I really don't make good use of that offer.

I must send well over 250 a month (not including O2 webtexts) Its soo expensive tho..thats why Im moving to Meteor as soon as the current 12 months with O2 are up... been with them since 97 but they must be the dearest provider at this stage.

2 quick questions:

- is Meteor - Meteor txting still free?
- Can I get O2 to unlock my 6230 or will I need a new one?

1000 in, 800 out since about april.

I don't like using my phone at all (calls or texts) but feel i have to cos my mates use me as a bit of a hub for communicating between each other - i'm the guy all of me mates ask if i have been talking to everyone else. Its a bitch. But c'est la vie - it gives me the impression i'm popular.

That averages 210 texts everyday???

Even if your a superfast texter, lets say it takes you a minute to recieve, read and reply to a text, this means you spend 3 1/2 hours everyday dealing with text messages???

How the hell do you find time to do anything else.

Thats completely insane.

For the record i've sent 295 in the last 7 months. Used to text people a lot more, but now I'm more inclined to phone people.

I'd say I send about 300-350 msgs a day. Its free so why not i say. Some ppl spend hours watching telly or reading. I find it much more interesting to be communicating with sum1 else. Meteor - Meteor in great, but if u join now u dont get free txts..

i got a nokia 3220 five weeks ago, my old phone didnt have a message counter but this one does and it says i've sent 500 txts in the past five weeks. i still have the free meteor to meteor txts!

i mostly use the free texts on vodafone.ie, but i've never gone through the whole 300 in a month.
i'd say i send about 20 or 30 per week. if someone tries to get me into a text conversation, i'll just ring them because i find those conversations really annoying. i also don't reply to people who use txt spk.

i used to have a meteor phone when i did i was close to 30k texts, my phone got nicked from work and i ordered anew sim card 4 times that never arrived so i changed to vodafone.

texts are too expensive now but i still spend about 20 quid a week on texting.

on my nokia 6230 since last december when i got the phone, this does'nt include me using the desktop text software from o2, which is handy for replying when im at home.
AFAIK you can download it from the o2 website and all it does is send a sms as if its from your number, and it still charges, but is way quicker than using the phone keypad.
Also i think it only works as a plugin for MS outlook.

Only got a new phone recently so its count is at about 80-100 at this stage. I've sent maybe 500-600 this year. Such an inefficient way of communicating if you haven't got free messages.

12c or whatever the going rate is for maybe a sentence or two, grand for giving a quick detail or two but where has the art of conversation gone?
