What's your diet like? Also, a few questions:

    1) Do you tend to put on fat easily?

    2) Have you always had a wide waist or hips?

    3) Can you fit your hand around your wrist?

    4) Is your skin (are you) cold? (colder than most people)

Post your normal diet and this and I should be able to help you, because I can't imagine not losing weight unless a) you are eating very bad and at the wrong times (ie starve pre exercise, gorge post exercise and before bed) or b) you are an endomorph and have impaired thyroid function...

Both are easy to remedy, though b would take medication, it is very safe. You also have the right mindset to improve which is the biggest plus in your favour... Many let themselves get way too overweight and blame it on everybody else and do nothing, you don't seem like that at all, so you'll have no probs!

I really dont know if i put on fat easily cuz i cant really compare to anyone else! I havent always had a wide waist only in the last few years, i had a condition which caused my femur bone to slip out of my hip joint a few years back and i had to get pins there to stop it slipping and that sort of restricted me as to the amount of sports i could do, but i let it get to me and i did no sports at all and felt sorry for myself!! Anywho after that i started putting on weight which was my own fault! I can fit my had around my wrist no problems. And yes my skin is cold, my hands and lips turn purple very easy if they get cold!! my diet would consist of:

Breakfast: Cereal (special k or bran flakes mostly!)

Dinner: Some days, Potatoes + chicken, some days Chicken Tikka or Rogan Josh......

    Tea: Tea and toast.

Thats only a rough idea of my diet because as i said its not very consistant.

    4) seems like a circulation type question , but 3) seems a bit weird!!, at a guess would suppose that the wrist is one of the last places to gain fat..at least here it is.. a fat wrist indicating a very overweight person ?

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Nah, just that naturally fat people (big boned!!) won't be able to fit their hands around their wrists. The diet is the problem here.

You are eating too infrequently which is slowing your metabolism. You also have way too little protein, forget the food pyramid - it causes obesity and diabetes.

Start eating 5 regular meals around 3 hours apart throughout the day, obtaining your calories as percentages from proteins/carbs/fats as roughly 40/40/20. I'd post more, but just seacrh to see what TYPE of foods to eat - ie good carbs, good proteins and EFA's.
