Pins in Finger

    Dont know where to post this so move if needed, I Broke my finger and had to get two pins to straighten it as it was bent, i am getting the two pins out thursday i can see them coming out the top of my finger 2 small needle like pins, i am just wondering how they will be taken out, General anastectic, local etc?

    Probably local only, depends on the type of pin and the preference of the doc. They come out nice and quick though so don't worry.

    had similar taken out of my elbow, that was done under general .. nice little keepsake !!!

    for a finger, more than likely done with a local, just make sure you look away!!

    the pin in my thumb was taken out with no anaesthetic or anything, the consultant just pulled it out. really mingin feeling.
