They're String Quartet tributes to famous bands like Coldplay, White Stripes, Etc. I particularly like the one for Maroon 5. the whole idea sounds a bit cheesy [I know] but meh, i'm a cheese.

i think it's more fun the other way around, when rock bands do covers of classical music - i have a track of Metallica doing a cover of Beethoven's Fifth and Confutatis from Mozart's requiem. So much fun!

My band covers The Imperial March and some classical piece which i cant remember the name of right now... Agh!

the Trans-Siberian Orchestra are good for a rock version of a classical piece. their two best ones are "Beethoven's Last night" [a hybrid of famous motifs] and The overture to The marriage of Figaro.
