Anyone know any recepies that go with a work out diet or where to find them? Im looking for tasty dinners that are healthy and low in fat such as salads and others, just looking to start a good diet.

I know what the good foods and the bad ones are but I am looking for any recepies that anyone has to make healthy eating a little bit tastier!

cuisine wise, italian and chinese can be very good - buy a few recipe books and experiment. In general avoid mexican and middle eastern cuisine as they tend to be calorie ridden. Indian can be good but it is fundamental you make it up yourself from spice powders and avoid the pre-prepared jars like the plague. I find yoghurt substitutes very well for cream for korma recipes. Adding herbs and spices adds zing and may help the transition.

Salads are good, but salad dressings are a disaster - throw out all the mayo and dressings you have in the house and stick to the basics. Vinegar and mustard add flavour and not much calories - you can also drizzle extra virgin olive oil. But when you drizzle it, you know exactly how much you add - whereas you haven't a clue when you buy dressings......

Get a Thai book. Thai food is about as healthy as Cuisine as you can eat. Authentic Chinese too.

I use fat free dressings and extra light hellmans mayo with salads. They're very low in bad stuff.
