When is the best time?

I usually exercise after my dinner in the evenings around about 8pm. I have a good bit of weight to lose and was wondering if it mattered what time of the day I exercised or once I do some its fine.

I was told if I do it first thing in the morning it would speed up my loss- is that true?
And others have told me to do it in the evening before my dinner instead of after but now I have read you aren't supposed to eat a meal until 45 mins after exercise so if I done that I'd be eating really late- does that make a differance? Or is that even true about waiting 45 mins.

    Any opinions welcome!
    Thanks

afaik exercising in the morning burns more calories cause your metabolism is at its best, but exercising between 3pm-8pm are when your muscles are at their best and your least likely to do your self an injury. Personal preference really, but I would say the morning would be better though cause you would feel energised then for the rest of the day. Maybe just get up an hour earlier

The morning is best as it will rev your metabolism up for the day. I find the morning tricky though as I can't eat before I exercise but working hard on an empty stomach makes me feel a bit sick sometimes. Also, I have to get into work for 8.30am and it takes me ages to shower/ blowdry hair/ get dressed/ put makeup on/ walk to work, so I'd have to hit the shower at 7.30am and the bloody place only opens at 7am! I really prefer the morning though as I can make up a million excuses during the course of the day not to go after work.

Dont' worry about it too much though - you're doing a good thing by going at any time of the day. You're still buring off calories so just go at whatever time feels right for you. If you don't enjoy it you won't keep it up.
