"A juicy red apple is nice..."

remember around the time the MA125's were around, a mate got Smokebelch and played it at a party, another mate rushing off his head going, "MAAAAAA", "MAAAAAAA". Great track.

Theres a track from the past now:rolleyes:

I only even had one bad E experiance in the Ballroom, it was New Years night, the Sound Crowd were playing their first live gig and the place was empty and I ended up with poxy MA125's, I think thats what they were called, horse **** tablets, what muck. A mate of mine ended up with a horn for a week after taken 2 of these.

Well fu.ck me i never thought anyone else got these things......we had a gig at the Hellfire Club on top of the Dublin mountains years ago now 96 or 97 & all done about 8 of them MA125's.....dont know what they are made of but there was some serious tripping of them....all in all it was a great buzz that night/morning apart from my mate Hedger (R.I.P.) that kept walking into the arch as you go in the very first entrance to the building & cracking his face off it....he was walking around with blood all over his face from the gash he got & this looked mad by the light of the bonfire outside when we were all about 4 or 5 into the pills......but it was all good,

This is the first rave track I ever heard. I must have been about 12 and me mates big sister was going around in her lumberjack shirt, telling me about the raves in Finglas. She had me listening to this and Praga Khahn-Injected With a Poison I remember. I was converted:p
    Still an excellent track IMO:cool:

That was about the time we got those. I had a mad trip off them. I could hear tin whistles and the voice of FionnMacCumhail. Was dancing away, next thing I turned around to the guy next to me and says, "I'm a Ballymunner". He looks at me like, "Wha!", then shakes me hand. Next thing I know everyone in the room is shaking me hand and I'm the middle of the floor, tripped off the nut, doing some mad trippy dancing. It made perfect sense at the time. :)

personally i thought the mistis were pretty good.from what i can remember they were the first good e's out in maybe a year or so.there had been some ****e out befroe them.malcom x springs to mind, dirty yokes.

for me the first white doves i done back in 94 were the best.total love buzz.then there were the speckeled doves which were pretty dam good aswell.then as i said there was a period between the speckeled doves and the mistis when the e's were ****e.then the mistis came out and were not bad at all i have to say.

remember the nite faithless played in the point tho.we had a speckeled dove each, meself and the 2 m8's.dropped them in the point but was on a bit of a downer for some reason.the gig in the point ended prematurley as some dick went around with a blade salashing ppl's faces.so we left the point and ended up in the ufo.bought another tab each.have'nt a clue what it was but was 1 of the best i've ever tried.love to know what it was.i held it in my hand for a couple of seconds to try and make out the print on it,but i could'nt focus on it so i just swallowed before it was snached out of my hand by a bouncer or the like.

anyways i know there were yokes about at the time called riddlers so i'm thinking it may have been 1 of these combined with the speckeled dove.apperantly the riddlers were laced with speed.anyone shed anymore light on these riddlers.:pac::pac::pac:

I suppose its a matter of opinion for everyone at a particular time......mates of mine were saying the E's had gone sh.ite compared to what we were getting at the start when the ASYLUM was still kicking......some didnt like the speckled doves you mentioned & only wanted the clean white ones......personally a mix of both was great i thought with a few acid thrown in a couple of spliffs a line of lou reed some cider & wine for good measure & back in again the following night:D:D:D:D:D:D

Heres a memory that just sprang back into my mind.......remember a mate of mine (that ended up playing every week in the 13th floor in town) used to have his shed set up like a RAVE back around 94 - 95.....it was a long shed & he had painted the walls like black & white bricks.....had white sheets pinned into the roof all the way from the from to the back so they hung down like in a dip if you catch me....proper DJ box set up in the corner with strobe & coloured lights & we had some great criac in there.....sweatbox wasnt the word used to be about 15 - 20 of us giving it socks out of the brain till 8 in the morning most times.......anyway he used to bang out this one tune without fail i never knew the name of & has just come back to my mind....it had lyrics in it like this i think:),
" King of islam is a god......Roll like dynamite "

Anyone got this to offer for download?????

Stranger things have happened, especially when cider and a group of lads in their mid-30's get together, I tend to think I'm 16 again:D I think we'll end up going on the knacker in some field just for old times sake - I used to love knacker drinkin, those were the days, total freedom.

Out of here for the weekend - enjoy what ever you's get up to;)

    Cheers,
    Mick
