What is the funniest ep you've seen?

I just saw "Child Abduction is Not Funny" last night for the first time - haven't laughed so much in my whole life rofl.. it was just so stupid..
"when mongowians come to destroy the ****ty wall, i'll pour this sweet and sour pork on their heads! oh, sweet and sour pork so hot and-a sticky" (From tvtome)
"You think just because I'm chinese I can build great wall. All chinese do is build wall."
Tweek: I'm not supposed to talk to you!
Guy on railroad: Please, kid, this isn't funny you have to help me!
Tweek: But it could be a trick!
*Guy on railroad gets runover by a train*
Tweek: Wow, that's a pretty good trick

One of my favourite episodes is the metrosexual one with the crab people. It was totally unexpected and random. Laughed so hard as that crab people music was playing.

Repli when mr lu kim says ****ty he's actually saying "city" but with the chinese accent it comes out as ****ty. " hello welcome to city wok may I take your order". one of the funniest gags in a show ever.

best episode is from series 6 entitled "The Biggest Douche In The Universe".
do not get me started on the Rob Schneider parts...

Classic ep, definitely one of my favourites.

In that ep, I love the scene where Jesus tries to communicate with Moses back at base ("Jesus to Moses, come in... Moses, come in...") and Moses in a can't-be-arsed attitude just shouts back "What?!"

One of their finest eps, definitely. It was around this point the show began to really find its feet, leaving behind those who jumped on the bandwagon in its early days (when it was not nearly as good as it got later on.)

    # Crab people, crab people - walk like crabs, talk like people... #

I love the bit in this one where a guy comes in to the TV executive's office (who hadn't been there earlier) and sees the dead bodies and completely deadpan says, "Oh, they were crab people..." as if everyone knew they existed and this wasn't a shocking revelation of any kind.

I picked a random episode to watch the other night. It was the one where Christopher Reeves, with the help of stem cell research (which was pretty damn tasteless!), managed to walk again. Jimmy and Timmy also joined the crips. Very funny episode. The biggest laughs came from Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny who, every 5 minutes, would walk through the shot and one of them would say something like "Nope... forget it, I'm not f**king touching this one..."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,083 ✭✭✭✭Stark

    I loved that one.

"So Christopher Reeves, how do you get the stem cells into you?"

Christopher Reeves breaks open a foetus and gorges on it :D

There are so many episodes to choose from. I think from Season 8 which is currently showing, "Woodland critter christmas" is the funniest. - "We'll have to use our evil Satanic powers to stop you Stanny". "Wow! That worked great! Our powers grow stronger every day, stronger every day!" :D I actually don't think the rest of Season 8 is very funny though.

Seasons 5,6 and 7 were hillarity all the way. I think Seasons 3 and 4 were really good too.

The Death Camp Of Tolerance episode is probably my favourite

Actually pretty much all of season 6; My Future Self 'n Me, Red Hot Catholic Love, Free Hat etc. Great season.

All of Season 8, plus Red Hot Catholic Love, Mr Hanky's Christmas Classics, Cartmanland and Butters' Very Own Episode.

Mr Hanky - "...and if you don't like it, well I guess you can just suck my tiny little balls"

The episode from Season 9 where Kenny directs the armies of heaven against Satan using a golden PSP was great. Meanwhile, Cartman is trying to get his feeding tube removed so he can get his hands on Kenny's own PSP (this was shown just after the woman in Florida had died). Frequent and sometimes uncomfortable laughs.

afaik south park episodes are written within the week.

they are aired on wednesday then the guys have until tuesday next week to have the next episode finished. That's how they keep so up to date when they use topical matters such as that woman's case.

In fact i think that makes south park extra great because there is no other show - to my knowledge - that does this.

man they are all great, the one where he makes yer man eat his own parents and then licks his tears saying sweet is damn funny!

yup, it's true, you cannot get a bad south park.

going to be a bit bold here but it is better than the simpsons...
simpsons have gone downhill so fast that it is unreal and it came out of nowhere they now have more ****e episodes than classics.

whereas south park has stayed fresh.

anyone know when they are starting the second half of season 9?

ya it is better, but simpsons still has some classic lines!
the big family guy is the funniest as it packs in a joke a second

I agree about Family Guy! Its consistently the funniest and most entertaining of the lot!

South Park is bloody great too of course - There are so many classics... Episodes which caused the *most* pain in the ribs from laughing are:

Timmy and Gobbles the Turkey...Oh lawrdy...

and the one where Timmy is upset that Jimmy has joined the Scouts - especially when he sings 'TimmahTimmah TimmahTim..." to the tune of Old McDonald while pasting a picture of Jimmys head onto some gay pr0n as Jimmy is being led away... and as mentioned earlier where Cartman announces to startled shoppers... "CRIPPLEFIGHT!!!!"

Scot Tenorman must die, still remains my favourite episode of all time.
    Just brilliant.

The one on Paramount at the moment is quality. The satanic little forrest creatures like Bambi etc having bllod orgies! :D

"The Entity" from Season 5 is definitely one of the South Park classics I think. It's the one where Mr. Garrison invents the gyroscopic vehicle that happens to have some unfortunate penetrative side-effects. Hilarious stuff.

Of course the whole of Seasons 4,5 and 6 were hillarious. I think Seasons 3 & 7 had some gems as well. I don't think Season 8 is particularly funny, the "ill of the week" satire thing got a bit old. The only episode I really chortled at was "Woodland critter christmas". I've yet to see Season 9.

The ep where Cartman buys the guys pubes (Scott Tenorman must die, i think?) That is just fan-bloody-tastic. Cartman is brilliant (sorry for stating the obvious there...)

And in the new series the woodland critter christmas is hilarious. especially seeing it a second time, when you know it's a story by Cartman. I found myself thinking that Cartman was a comedic genius before remembering he was only a fictional character  :D

Woodland Critter Christmas or Kenny Dies-

Cartman: I'm just like the fetuses, Chuck, I wasn't born yesterday

I thought that paris hilton episode(can't remember the name of it) was good enough. Which reminds me...type the following into google and search:

    paris hilton isnt a whore

Then look what appears under the search box :)

My fave was when Cartman and Kenny are doin' a runner in Kenny's pedal car.
