Over the last 3nites. Ive pulled 3 birds with the strangest names ive ever heard. A Majella, A Jordana and a Behein. I honestly cant believe that these are real names. Why do birds make up mad names for themselves are they just embarrassed, Iam I some sort of hideously deformed freak. What is goin On

Were they all Irish? Where I work I hear the strangest names ever, but most of them are Russian or African....

No offence rossatron but your name is kind of strange too,and crap as well.
The only strange thing about majella jordana and behein is their taste in men.

    A Majella, A Jordana and a Behein.
Majella's quite an ordinary name. As for the other two, apart from Jordana Brewster I've never heard them used. "Behein" sounds like the name of a foreign parliament or a dodgy German motor.

"Ostrich", now that's a strange name for a strange auld bird, but the long legs probably more than make up for it.

I was at a house party onceof a friend of mine who left to attend a posh dublin school. Six months later, she comes home and throws a party for her birthday. Flossie and Artemis were really nice girls, unfortunately Posie couldnt make it as she was sick. Oh how us muck savages laughed

And was the king Conor McNeasa?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,487 ✭✭✭Kevin_rc_ie

naoise is both a boy's and a girl's name. they sound the same anyway, i wonder if they're spelt differently.

wasn't there/isn't there a dublin craze of giving your kids exotic names like jordana, maquella (that's definitely spelt wrong) jacinta (this is not that exotic maybe) and lots and lots of other.

i think it's the working class version of giviung you kids double barrel surnames or irish first names.
