Wrong version?

Im trying to play Desert Combat again after a long stay away from the game. But from the vast majority of the servers i get a "wrong version" message. I have the final version 0.8, so what gives?? I have battlefield 1942 1.6. Are they mostly vietnam or something??

not familiar with dc tbh but id say you might need an up to date patch.some of the guys that play it should be able to tell you the latest patch for it.

but i think everyone is too busy waiting for the bf2 demo to be released (me included...lol)
