By my calculations, even though I stupidly left out part (b) of a question, I got 81%.

Still the worst maths test I ever did. I've never got lower than 96%. I'm sure that's the same for a lot of you too. :(

I remember getting (pie)/6, i.e 30 degrees, but I don't have it written down or anything, so not too sure.

They only put the basics of what is necessary on the 'solutions'.

That's the answer to b (ii).

    For c(i), I got something like: (Pi plus/minus a number)/number

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 91 ✭✭sixdraw

    i'm gettin (pi - 2) /16 for b(ii) and pi/6 for c(i)

I knew it! I thought the solutions were a bit mixed up, as I was so sure it was the way you said it.

Thanks for clearing it up! :)

Made a slip in Question 3b and a mistake in Question 4c (i)
Rest was all correct according to that.
I say around 290/300 which is 96% in that exam which is not too shabby considering how crap I thought it was whilst doing it. Much tougher than 04 and 03 i thought.
I honestly don't care about an A, i just rather my girlfriend gets it.

I wonder how much i'll lose in c(i). I just did the sin-1 with the (1-x). no substitution.getting a final answer of minus pi/6. I hope its just a blunder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,946 ✭✭✭D-Generate

Thats a slip, I would say either -1 or -3 tops to be taken off.

They have the PAPERS so far, there is no way they'd have the marking schemes already.
