Can anbody tell me if I am getting enough calories. Im about 5ft8. A typical days eating would consist of:
    Breakfast
    Large bowl of porridge/all bran
    Tea
    Lunch
Chicken Salad sandwich on brown bread
    Dinner
    1 - 2 potatoes
    Oven Baked Breaded Chicken
Large amount of vegtables including brocilli, cauliflower, carrots, brussel sprouts, courgettes

I usually have a cup of tea after my dinner with a biscuit/bar of chocolate

At weekends I like to go out and have 6 - 7 pints

The reason I ask is because people keep asking me have I lost weight. I am small enough as it is so I dont want to loose anymore weight. If anything I would like to gain half a stone or so.

Here, I made a quick food calculator. I put in sample figures (mine) to give you an idea. Just put in bodyweight and it will show you how many cals you need. Then just put in g of macros and it shows how many cals it gives....

I'm dieting so you'll have to change one thing in the main formula:

Resting ius your BMR (basal metabolic rate) The figure in active (1.75 in mine) varies like this:

    Stationary = 1
    Moderately Active (exercise 4 days) = 1.5
    Very Active = 1.7 - 2 (depending on level)

This will allow you to decide on maintenance or increasing cals etc.

i'd say you're eating enough based on your weight. But obviously if you want to gain weight then you'll have to eat more. Do you just want to gain in general or do you want to gain muscle etc?

What kind of exercise do you get at the moment?

Id like to gain weight in general but a little muscle too. I get very little excercise this time fo the year but when the soccer season starts back up I will be training twice a week with a match on sundays. I have a sedetary job. The only exercise I get is the walking I do, getting to work, which is about half a mile each way. I also do 80 push ups a day and 4 sets of weight lifting using dumbells. Not sure what the name of the exercise it is i do with them, but it work my upper arms

In that case you should be eating a lot more. You're not really going to gain much if you're eating that kind of food and doing the weights. Have a read of the sticky at the top of the page, i'd say that has plenty of info on how to gain weight.
