Bring them in early in the evneing and make sure they dont leave your room after that. Don't give security reason to come to your apartment either ie. noise, partys, gangbangs...

Alternatively, if they're DCU students, "lose" your swipe card, get another one, security only asks to see student card and swipe card, so show them the old one. Or at least you could do this last year, I presume it hasn't changed, they don't swipe them or anything.

Yea I wasnt on res last year but I had my own swipe card for dealing with security. I often stayed on res till 3-4am then drove home(not after drinking by the way!) and was asked to show my res card in this situation a couple of times. I'm pretty sure the security guard new full well it was fake but they don't care enough to go making any further checks.

It has. They run all the card through the swipe on the revolving doors to check they're valid. Maybe that's only when events are on, I dunno.

One person goes in. The other person goes around the side gate that they lock near the gym. You give the other person your card, and go wait for them to arrive. Simple.

Or you can jump the fench, a tall bloke mate of mine used to do that al of the time.

Security dont really care, they just have to stop people sometimes cuz its their job.

i heard that next year there getting rid of the swipe cards, and you will be using your students cards instead. so that will be the end of fake swipe cards, or letting other people use your swipe card.

don't think it'll be your student card that opens the door but their putting your picture on the card that opens your door. same effect i.e. you can't sneak someone onto res any more.

Doesn't work anymore Jes - they have fined a ton of people over this in the last two / three months before we left res, they have cameras everywhere and seem to be really clamping down.

I'd say next year will be like Fort Knox! Thank god I'm outta there for good now :D
