Air Rower vs Hydraulic Rower

Hi I am thinking of buying a hydraulic rower (because they are fold downable ane more storable), Can anyone tell me if there that worse than air resistance rowers? I read somewhere that professional rowers prefer hydraulic rowers (think he was selling one tho)
