Changing BIOS Boot-up Logo

    Does anybody know how you would go about changing the manufactures logo which appears immediately when you turn on your computer?

    For example the "Compaq" logo which appears when a Compaq machine is booting up.

    BTW: I'm not talking about the Energy Saving Logo thing which appears on Award BIOS's.

    i have a Asus mobo(amercian megatrends bios) that you can change the boot up screen the software to do it came with the mobo its only 256 colors so it looks pretty **** tbh

    You'd need a BIOS editor for your BIOS. Not all of them support it.
    An alternative would be to replace your windows/lilo/grub boot screen.

    As SyxPak mentioned, you can change the windows bootup logo to whatever you want. Lots of tasty bootscreens. ;)
