We should do both. Everyone collect, exchange insults then go for a top 5 vs top . when the dust settles we can do the royal rumble too.

The top 5 v top 5 should be the "real" decider, and the royal rumble is for everyone to have a laugh


Place should be somewhere secluded and aggro mob free, and as easy to get to for everyone as possible. Therefore it should be near(ish) a flightpath, and in a low level zone.

My vote (i've only be playing wow for 3 weeks or so, and am horde) would be north of ratchet, perhaps the hidden path behind the den in durotar? (pretty close to ratchet). that's quiet and doesn't have aggros around it. by the shaman earth totem quest altar is where i mean.

Any other ideas?

Time? the sooner the Dudes understand their role as <Bored of ie> whipping dog, the better methinks.

Our TOP 5 would be at 55,54(nearly 55 ),48,48,48.

The rest are just middling around 30 afaik

may i suggest the Maul in dire maul? Its another PVP free for all zone much like Gurubashi, It wouldnt have as many randomers going around at all. Wouldnt be too much trouble clearing out all those elite ogres with the mass numbers :P

Or else some quiet-ish zone. Azshara or Silithis maybe.. Im sure alot of the lowbies would want to watch tho, so that wouldnt be so good. Shimmering flats does sound good as well. Or maybe Ontop the twin collosals in feralas?

Seconded- newbies can be shepherded over fairly easily (and pick up a flight path or 2 on the way).

However fear might be a little too good up there

What I meant was I didn't know there was any Horde presence at all in Wetlands. I thought Arathai was as far as the Horde went before Badlands.

Must check that out...

There's no Horde quests (afaik) or base but it is contested. Closest Horde gaff is indeed Hammerfall.

No, you go to Wetlands too, but there are more Alliance generally.

What I mean is a lowbie contested area is better. In a higher contested area you'll have more people interfering. The people that might interfere in Wetlands are low anyway and you can just tell them to step back as you're having some personal duels. It's hard to arrange personal duels when there's lvl50+ people butting in (which you would do in higher lvl areas like silithus or blasted lands). And it's noob friendly for people in the guilds that just want to watch.

Wetlands sounds good, it's always been pretty empty when I've been there, aand the mobs are fairly low level, so most people should be able to get there easily enough. Wherever it happens though, we could always open portals for people who wouldn't be able to get through hillsbrad without getting slaughtered every 5 minutes.

You would want to be carefull and not make the time and place so public though....I've been killed twice by board.ie members..and havent killed one yet.:)

You should use Moonglade. It's wide open with no mobs and no people, just summon whatever lowbies can't make it there themselves.

Dudes are currently undergoing a phase of restructuring. The current amalgamation with Synergy should be complete at latest next week. We'll duel you then at moonglade, 40v40 lvl 50+
