    Postcodes would also be useful for GPS systems.

    and yes BK i agree thats the 1st thing that popped into my head when i thought of ireland getting postcodes
    they'd be great for gps's

    Given the age of the thread, I opted not to move it. Given that there's nothing new to add, I've opted to close it.
