Burning stomach / waist fat

Ive been unable to do any training for about 4 months due to an injury and hey presto, Ive put a 14 or 15 pounds on from not burning off my jaffa cakes.

The thing is.. Im watching what I eat in a big way, and Im losing the fat gradually, about 2 or 3 pounds a week... but the fat around my stomach and weight is staying put.

What can I do to help it head off?! Sit ups??

You can't spot reduce. Sit ups will tone your stomach, but you'll still have a flabby belly.

Keep working at it, and it'll be gone eventually. If you're male, then the stomach is one of the last places you'll lose your excess weight. It's a bitch.

In that case it shouldn't be too difficult. You'll need to make sure you stay off the snacks though.

Up your excercise routine, eat smaller meals more frequently throughout the day, drink loads of water.
Booze is what stops me getting as flat a stomach as I'd like, so hat's off to you!

Ya stay off all the junk food- completely. I did this, only ate foods which my yoga teacher were said to be 'alive' ie. fresh fruit and veg.. I try put only alive foods into my body now.Lost aload of weight, even off my belly and my love handles went aswell... until i took up drinking again! so maybe it will work for you seeing as you don't consume alcohol.
