The reflectors underneath the bumpers (white on front, red on rear) were a requirement in the country at the time, I only saw them on '80s cars so I guess they gave up on them at some stage.

    I've seen them on '70s cars ;)

This lovely DS was there too, armchair comfort seats!

The brake 'button' on these always makes me smile. Still.considering the age of the car,its still relitively modern inside it.

Isn't that one of those cars that the rear wheels cannot be clamped?.

Most Citroen's with the hydropneumatic suspension can't be clamped when in the down position.

Was visiting the parents today and saw this in their underground car park when I was leaving.
At first I thought it was a capri then saw it was too small and thought it must be an Alfa or Fiat as it had a very italian look to it...then I saw the VW badge on the front !?!

I was chatting to the guy who owned it while he was waiting for a jump start and he was telling me that they were only ever made for Brazil for the local market.

A lot nicer than than Karmann Ghia's I think !

Anyone enough talk, here's the photos (sorry about the picture quality, iphone and underground car park lighting dont go well together) :

Thats about as nice a collection of cars as I have seen OKI.

The white ZY reg Triumph interests me, i saw it on a road run about 15 years ago. It is from my home County, Louth.
I wonder does the owner read these threads, I would love to know who the original owner was.
My older brother had a friend who had one, but whether it is or not....

    Regards Rugbyman
