Where to learn Technique and Cramps

Im new to exerciseing with weights, actually new to exercise:)

Any sites or books to help with technique. I had a look in the resources could not find what I wanted.

Breathing - when in when out
Chin in chin out, chest out/arse out, wrists straight, knees bent fast up, slow down... etc etc

I know that this allows you to exercise the correct muscle group, but I never seem to be ableto remember the correct combination for each exercise.

When I get the instructors to show me the correct way to use weights or machine, I can tell the difference but find it difficult to remember it all for every exercise.

    Any pointers please...

I also cramp a lot, this is usually put down to lack of hydration, its usually my right thigh muscle when doing leg exercise, forget the name! seated -legs straight out - ankles over padded bar and pushdown with back of ankle. anyhow I get a little further each week before leg cramps happens towards end of second set now, used to happen during first.

Same thing doing ab crunchs used to happen during toe taps, now Im in the second set of crunchs when it happens. my stomach just starts to vibrate and cramp its very uncomfortable. Im starting to bring water with me, but im alwasy conscious of not being dehydrated. Im sure there is no miracle cure but if there is:)

Anyone else use West Wood beside fairview dart station.

    Vex.

As regards technique, www.exrx.net has descriptions and animated gif files for most exercises. It is good but there are reports that some of the animations show quite poor technique.

You'll find loads of discussion on technique and weight training generally in the following newsgroups.
    misc.fitness.weights
    uk.rec.bodybuilding
    alt.sport weightlifting

Most beginner questions that you might feel like asking will have been answered in these newsgroups so its just a matter of searching google groups to find what you're looking for :)

Don't know about the cramps, I'll leave others to answer that.
