Hey im on iol bb,im using bittorrent azureus and i have forwarded ports 6881-6889 from my modem (zyxel prestige 600) to my computer and the same ports from my wireless router (linksys wrt54g) to my computer. Ok For anyone looking to work bittorrent under the same circumstances heres what you do:
1)set your modem as a bridge,which meant nat is disabled and u dont do any port forwarding from here.
2)set your wireless router up for pppoe(should be an option on the main page where it possible sayd dhcp already) and enter in your iol username and password.
3)go into port forwarding and forward whatever port you want to use to your ip address.
4)set azureus to use this port
5)thats it!!happy downloading

Thanks everyone for all the help.my downloads have gone from 10 kb/s to 170kb/s.
