Are you allowed to advertise in your sig?

I think it was discussed, but left alone as its nearly impossible to enforce at this stage. :) I'm not sure how image adverts are looked at, but text adverts usually are fine.

I think discrete ads for your own businesses are allowed.
That doesn't look terribly discrete to me.

It could be worse, but from looking at the website it doesn't seem to be a business. More of a resource site.

    From the rules:
Your sig should NOT be a giant advertisement for anything. A subtle link to something you run online if fine. Use common sense.
Random, that's a bit OTT (not subtle).
Or maybe add info in sig that it's not selling anything.

I'm not selling anything.. it's a useful resource website .. but anyways ..

Its grand - its an over reaction. Your not a business, so the image falls within the image rules which afaik is meeting the requirements.

There's no point now. I'm sulking and I'll be over in the corner feeling sorry for myself.

I've no problem with the sig only it's long it's means every post I read from this poster means I've to scroll across and this would obviously slow you donw if you are reading down a thread.. Hope I've explained this clearly.

I don't have to do this with any other poster in boards and if it's just me then I'm happy to delete this post

don't know if it's within parameters or not ...but it is annoying and annoyingly wide if you're working with a narrow window
